Hi everyone! Sorry I've been so absent lately. I've been concentrating on my Illuminate class and finishing up the memory boxes. I just haven't had the chance to post much, or read much for that matter. But I'm trying to catch up! I do have a big favor to ask though. I am trying to put together a list of online and in person resources to help newly bereaved parents. This list will be included in my memory boxes. I would love some input from everyone. I know what has helped me, but other families may have other ideas. I would love to hear every one's opinions. Please feel free to include memorial websites too, where families can purchase or request items to memorialize their child/children. Thank you so much for your help with this!

You are so kind to do the memory boxes. As we all know, they are no replacement for our child but they really do matter.
When we lost Alexander, we were given one. If I didn't have that, I wouldn't have anything (besides a few really crappy, blurry and grainy pictures).
One thing I would have appreciated was a blanket to wrap him in. All they had was a ratty old thing...
As for a list of resources, as the mother of triplets, I found the following sites really useful;
http://tripletconnection.org/triplet_forum/dcboard.php, "Bereaved Parents" link
http://www.climb-support.org/
http://facesofloss.com/
http://www.bandbacktogether.com/
In the beginning, I was desperate to find other triplet mothers that had lost one child.
I didn't find (or was ready to join) the non-multiple BLM community until at least a year after Alexander's passing.
Am I ever glad that I found all of you.
Peace.
I really like facesofloss.com and include one of their cards in each of our boxes as a place for resources. I think it's ideal to have one central place so if you find other resources you find particularly helpful maybe email faces and ask them to add it to their site?
i have a list of resources at calvin's cupcakes which you can take a look at:

Thank you all for your input!
P.S. I'd love you to include Illuminate on your list. ;) hugs to you for doing this amazing work!
